I have been passionate about health and fitness for over 20 years. … for as long as I can remember. I have always wanted to help people get healthier… I love EVERYTHING about it!!!! I began leading group fitness classes at age 17 – and have continued my passion through many different avenues.
I have a degree in Exercise Science from BYU- Hawaii. I have worked in many different settings… large gyms, small gyms, and online. I have also worked as an independent trainer in people’s homes as well as private gyms. I am and always have been passionate about Fitness and everything that falls under the umbrella of health and wellness. (for certifications and credentials)
My approach to nutrition is meant to appeal to anyone who is ready to make a positive change. I trust and use science based nutrition.
This is not about how to diet harder. I have tried dozens of diets and avoided a long list of foods, and it left me with disordered eating habits. I’ve punished myself with workouts and focused on nothing but “fixing my flaws” and hating how my body looked. I finally got off that roller-coaster of guilt, shame, and obsession and chose to use a better nutrition template as a tool to have a less stress life. I have always believed that fitness is all about feeling better – not about the latest fad diets or workouts.
I first started nutrition coaching to complement my coaching/training business. My mission is to help people get healthier through exercise/movement and nutrition. If I had learned anything in my years as a coach, and trainer in fitness, it was that nutrition trumps extra workouts 10 out of 10 times. So I invested in an awesome Nutrition Certification-
