Health – What is your definition of health??

Health is a state of complete emotional and physical well-being…

Healthy is being balanced in all areas of your life, as well as your body. Work/play, interests/hobbies.  Being mindful of others, having mental/intellectual challenges. Having a great support system with family, friends, and advisors/mentors. Being free from illness- and being able to move your body without a lot of pain!!!

Nutrition –    is best balanced by eating the right amounts of a large variety of foods.

 protein, carbohydrates, fats, minerals, and vitamins are needed for a healthy body.

 

Exercise –

Flexibility/strength, cardio fitness/endurance,

 Exercise is medicine. 

 

Wellness – is a conscious, self-directed and evolving process of achieving full potential.

…. add Wellness and you are becoming aware of and making choices toward a healthy  life. Wellness is more than being free from illness, it is a  process of change and growth.

 Wellness is a conscious, self-directed and evolving process of achieving full potential and a  a more successful existence.
