Goal setting is usually where most people stop, but to really ATTAIN your goals — you have to build your skills for goal achievement!!!
Sometimes meeting the goals we set for ourselves is not easy. It will take energy, focus, and discipline.
If you stumble, make a mistake maybe eat a cookie – or a whole box of cookies, ITS OKAY!!!!!
DO NOT GIVE UP ON YOUR GOALS – IT IS STILL YOUR GOAL!!!
Eating that cookie or whatever your stumbling block may be, THAT IS OKAY!!!
We are going to make mistakes… It is impossible to learn a skill or ‘habit’ without making mistakes. Even the world’s greatest athletes never stop making mistakes.
Success isn’t the absence of failure, but going from failure to failure without any loss of enthusiasm.
It is often said that Thomas Edison failed 1000 times before successfully inventing the light bulb…. When a reporter asked Edison how it felt to fail 1,000 times, Edison replied: “I didn’t fail 1,000 times. The light bulb was an invention of 1,000 steps.”
If we allow failure to define us – it will destroy us!
But if you embrace your failure and look at it as an opportunity to learn from it – you will grow and prosper from it.
We often learn very little from our successes.
Our success, then, isn’t going from failure to failure, but growing from failure to failure without any loss of enthusiasm.
When we fall get up DO NOT CONTINUE TO BEAT YOUR SELF UP!!! The only way to be successful, is to continue to get up and go forward!!
We need to take charge of ourselves – DO NOT BECOME A VICTIM TO FAILURE!!!
YOU ARE THE BOSS OF YOURSELF!!
